Survey Researcher, Diversity Advocate
Audris Campbell is a Survey Research Lead within the Customer Experience (CX) Lab at Google. In this role, she uses survey research techniques to conduct global surveys that help Google better understand their customers experiences using Google’s products and tools. Audris is also the founder of The Research Gurus, an organization that provides survey research consulting to those looking to advance their survey research techniques and skills. Audris’ work and mission is about using survey research to help individuals and organizations improve the world around them.
Before her current appointments, Audris held survey methodologist roles at IST Research and Gallup. Audris was given an Outstanding Recognition Award in June 2020 and August 2020 by IST Research, and the Rising Star Award in May 2017 by Gallup. She was also given the Burns "Bud" Roper AAPOR Fellow Award in May 2017 by the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR).
Audris currently serves as a volunteer with MiR, a community for minority users of R, whose mission is to provide a space of belonging and support for people who identify as underrepresented minority R users. As the current useR2021 conference representative for MiR, Audris helps underrepresented minority users contribute to and participate in the global useR2021 conference.
Audris holds a Master of Arts in Applied Sociology and Graduate Certificate in Survey Research from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband, Devin, and son, Sean.
